Yea, we made it to beautiful WV!! Time is FLYING so fast, only a couple more days amd we will be starting to make the trek back home. Our route included Utah- Colorado-Kansas- Missouri- Illinois -Indiana - Ohio - Maryland and YEA- West Virginia! I promise to post some most awesome pictures soon! Makayla and I have really enjoyed this trip, thanks to mom for such a totally AWESOME birthday gift! It has made turning the big 3-0 not so tough.
We have renewed some pretty long friendships and talked, loved, argued and shared some most awesome sites across the US. Most of all I have enjoyed not having to punch the old time-clock! Greatful to have a job that allows me to do so. It is interesting to have the ratio of 2 mom's to 1 kid. All in all though I wouldn't trade one moment of this trip.
I love WV!!

New Bishop and Sis at home!!
Eventful Sunday, we got a new bishop! I am amazed at how young they are calling them. All 3 of the bishopric have children under the age of 1. One of them is a year younger than me. Don't get me wrong, these men have been called of God and I DO NOT doubt that one bit, but its either a sign of the times or I am getting old. I don't doubt either idea there but I am just amazed at all the sacrificing that their wives and children plus the three men will have to make. I teach the daughter of the new bishop and the 1st councelor's daughter and I am blown away with how much they understand about what their fathers have been called to do. I know that the Lord will bless and keep them!
Kathy and Zeke are here. They drove from Vegas tonight. The plans being that today (since it is 1:04 am) are to go to Cedar City and decorate my father's gravesite. Last year Makayla and I did this with my mom, and I was really glad we did. I love being around Kathy, she is warm and very easy to relate to. I hope that all will go well since Zeke doesn't have his behavior medicene with him. Will is supposed to come, hopefully everyone will be as patient with each other as they should. I love my little nephew, he is soo adorable.
Well I am honestly going to give this blogging thing more of my time. I know I need to record my thoughts more for posterity sake or something. :)

Mothers Day 2009
What a awesome family packed day today has been. Started with a lovely performance by all the children in our primary singing the first verse of Families Can Be Together Forever, with an awesome piano solo in the middle and then everyone in the congregation siging the last verse together...when the kids praticed in previous sunday's (I am a CTR 8 teacher)even then it brought tears to my eyes, but with all of us singing together it was overwhelming. It was arranged so beautifully. I think that I would like it sung EVERY day!! Its good to get the emotions flowing, since I am not a "cryer" it feels like spring cleaning to me! Well After church, my grandmother, mother, Will+Laura, Mary and her two darling kids where waiting at my home for the finishing touches of dinner. We had quite the debacle over whether we should go out to dinner or stay home, and I have to say I am glad to say that we didn't break the sabbath as a family! Well I know I do NOT update this as much as I should but PHEW, I am tired. I will write more later!

March already!!
Well its now 3 whole months into this new year already...crazy how time flies!! The Boulevard has permanently reassigned Will (due to his injury from Nov) into the Collection/Finance Dept. Will is pretty successful at anything he decides to put his best efforts into and ALREADY has done more for the department in his short time of being there than those that have been there for years. He is now working through his assigned list in about 30 mins of work, which brings up a bunch of new "fun" issues. Will calculated how much of a pay decrease we have had from being reassigned from Contractor Builder Division to Delivery to now into Collections, including a MANDATORY 10% decrease that every Boulevard employee will have to swallow due to economic crisis; brings the grand total to a woppin 33% salary decrease! WOWSERS! I guess there is always the bright side...at least he is employed; it would be an awful time to forced into unemployment.
